997 Presentation Show in Germany... horrible
I just returned back from the 997 presentation show at my dealership. What a disappointment. Me and my wife arrived there at 8.40 pm, the whole "show" started at 9.11 pm and we left the dealership at around 10.15 pm without being able to see the 997. It didn't mean too much to me, I already saw the 997 various times but my wife wanted to see it and we took a babysitter for the kids to be able to attend.
Starting with 9.11 pm, a video from Porsche was shown, explaining the 997 story. It was actually a better advertisement video than a real enthusiast video.
Then we saw that the video was gonna last over 75 minutes, a countdown was shown on the screen from time to time.
A lot of people were as annoyed as we were, especially since there were no seats to sit down and really watch this movie.
After around 10 minutes, most people walked outside and started talking, some remained inside the show room but nobody watched that video anymore.
It was also pretty warm today and it wasn't real fun to wait inside.
Huge disappointment and whoever is responsible for this crap should get a kick in the a.. .
Sorry guys but we worked all day and were pretty tired, we rushed home, we organized the babysitter, we changed ourselves and rushed to the dealership to see the 997 and... nothing.
I wonder if people at Porsche have little kids and work all day too.
