    This is the same base engine block design from the C5 Corvette and they keep making it better. The Pro Street Nostalgia is street driven cars that compete against one another in a drag race. The cars must be street driven to comply with the rules.
    The engine will take a single stage of nitrous oxide, but the 930hp was done WITHOUT nitrous. I thought the Veyron engine was crazy with four turbos (I'm sure the Veyron engine will last longer). Make sure you click on all the pages to see the build of the engine and the dyno results. The peak HP is at 8400rpm!

    Very informative!

    This thing is a beast for sure and rev's like crazy for a SBC, but it is also a race motor. Look at the compression ratio, it is 14.5:1 which means race gas. Even on pump gas you could bump down the CR to around 12:1 and still get incredible numbers in a reliable package. Maybe around 700 hp. So, your looking at a light engine, maybe about 150 lbs added to what a LS7 Z06 engine weighs, and still a smaller package than many 4v OHC engines.

    With twin turbo's your looking at a 1300-1500 hp package depending on what type of fuel you build for!!!

    You have to love Chevy for bringing such products to the masses for such a cheap cost.
