    I always thought that their chrysler 300C looked a bit like a rolls from the side and the front (but it's not as big.. but just look at the wheels....the wheels are knock-offs)... this concept car is a blatant attempt to mimic the rolls phantom.

    Wow... Chrysler is becoming like the next Hyundai. That ones just too close for comfort.

    First the " Bentley " 300C and now the "Rolls Royce" Imperial designed for the American older city " urban " neighborhood

    I'm not a fan of the Phantom, as it's overwrought and too much of a bling mobile. But imitating it at a $35K pricepoint (or whatever this concept would be slotted at) just reeks of inadequacy and a feeble need to be perceived as important.

    The most interesting cars have their own identity, and are never a flimsy copy of something else.

    ok here my interpretation of this whole fiasco.

    Daimlerchrysler intentionally will release the phantom look alike to cause commotion with phantom sales this will further lead to maybach getting a larger portion of the ubersedan market share, one that it presumed it would have gotten at first but failed miserably. im pretty sure alot of ppl would stop buying phantoms if they knew that chrysler was offering a phantom look alike aswell.

    this will surely be a hit amongst poor ppl(dont judge me because of this comment) they could get a phantom for 1/10th the price.

    im also assuming maybach will offer facelift as soon as the chrysler comes out. this would make the maybach even more appealing.
