A neighbor had three Pagode, a dentist. He loved these cars. 
Not sure it is the perfect car for snowy roads but definitely a very lovely choice.

You should send some over the ridge. Here grass and flowers show everywhere.

Fueling for a Winter road trip - Sun Ra had to see her cardiologist so 500 mile round trip. Stormy weather but MaMa left the TRX in full time 4WD, which means it needs $WD repair, so we tested the M8.
The Ceramics are super, biting from cold, unlike the RSQ8 which will slide you right through your first intersection unless you ride them for 5 minutes - useless.
Things were iffy on the way over on the Northern route:
20 knot side breeze but here we were running 100-90 mph w Michelin Alpins on the winter 19s". As we went West.... the snowplows went.... missing! It got deeper and we played point and squirt 45-80 mph just keeping it on, passing without going sideways... once the snow was 4" deep and heavy, it would skew the car and slow the caught wheels. No time for photos -- just survival.
On return, Sun Ra suggested the Southern route which allowed 120 in the rain and thin slushy snow on the freeway, and 140 on the clear yet raining 2 lane -- much more relaxing. The M8 exhaust sound is just awful - I will remove it from my M8 setting, but the car is superb.
A truly great sports car with room, for $cheap, I highly recommend it as does Sun Ra. A car this fast and this useful obviates the need to pay 3-4 times more for Ferraris.
Next test will be the 4 Labs test.

Now you understand why I ordered myself the new M3 CS instead of a 992 GT3 Touring.

Easy to understand---gt3. pigs no longer of interest.
what I don't understand is how you decided not to get m4xdrive? I built them both w ceramic and the 3 was 92Kusd, 4 was 93usd.. both have ugly front openings. but great tech/engines/etc
why 3?

8 April -- truly the last snow? Going to 50 F this week. One of my favourite novels is Turgenev's Spring Torrents -- which we are going have lushly. Guess normal 2 week melt flood could last 6 weeks -- no Labs in the river! These piles will take a while....

It looks like 2 months before I get the steers on the paddocks.... River's twice as wide as 5 days ago, after 3 days above 40F. This too shall melt.
if you compare back 2 weeks, you can see it's melting away

Thank god…here in Bavaria we have a variety of over 1.500 Breweries…we will find a good Pilsener for you….
