UH OH Broken Glove Box!
Discovered earlier this week that my MY05 997S cab glove box wouldn't open! The handle was dangling and the lock cylinder was flopping in the breeze. Can't figure out what happened but I was worried that the local law enforcement boys would ask for my registration and I couldn't produce it. I had visions of prying open the box (all leather mind you) ACK! Do they make leather duct tape? Took it to my friends at Porsche of Arlington today. Mark and Chad as usual took charge immediately. Left the car, they rolled out a Cayenne off the lot as a loaner and promised to fix it ASAP. This afternoon they called saying it was fixed, apparently broken plastic parts in the cross latch struts, which they covered under warranty. They brought my car out to me at the office (some 20 miles) in the rain and picked up the Cayenne (great SUV by the way). These guys are the best, and exceed expectations. They deserve kudos.
