    F355 -Opinions on a car on ebay?

    I like this car - does anyone want to offer any info or opinions on it?

    I like it also.
    I must say that I still prefer most Ferraris in red or yellow (I'm so ashamed to admit it ), but this 355 is stunning.
    The Azzurro Hyperion paint suits the car perfectly, and I really like the CF seats.
    The interior color is the only part of the car that I dislike. I would have preferred a color that contrasts the exterior a little more.
    It's a Ferrari though, I don't care what color it is, as long as I'm driving it .

    Grant the car looks clean. However they describe the condition as nice. I am not sure what that means.

    The 355 is an excellent car but if possible I would suggest you test drive one. Possibly your local Ferrari dealer has one.

    Also there may be maintenance issues. Need to find out if the car was serviced for the 30,000 mile because I believe the major service requirement is 30,000 or 5 years.

    That said, it sure is a nice looking car.

    make sure that the timing belts and rubber hoses were all
    replaced. If the car has no such record, it will cost
    you another 10K.

    Nick, I've actually driven two of them in the past. I think they look and sound better than they drive, but I still like them. I've also driven a 575M with F1 and a 71 Daytona that was mint. I also had a ride in a F360 F1 that was driven hard. I probably can't justify (or afford) an F-car, but I toy with the idea every once in a while

    the car looks mint ,really mint .but personally i dont like the color ,and i think its the hardest color to sell . and why does it have a 355 F1 owners manual?

    Obviously, the latter the better in terms of performance polymorphously. Having said that, not having much of driving ability, F355 probably is the most
    fun for me since I can use wider band of rpm throughout and does not go dangeously fast like 360 or 430 do. 430 is just too powerful that it becomes frustrating
    driving in Tokyo (not able to step on it at all). Bottom line is that F355 is "just right". Tightening the suspension will make the car even safer I think. The scream
    of the engine is just extatic.

    is it exactly the same color, or is it as mine was 'azzuro california'

    Grant I presume these photos were taken with the car not moving...if so why does the speedo show about 10mph?

    Good eye! I knew Ferrari's speedos were over-optimistic, but I didn't realize it was in effect while parked

    I believe this was a known "feature" of the 355s, their speedos always seemed to read 10 mph when stopped.

    i had an 01 spider in azzura california w/ blue racing seats, all blue int and blu top. quite stunning!!!

    Looks stunning

    I had a 97 F355 in Titanio Grigio and black int. I got MANY complements on the color and how it was nice to see an F car in something other than red or yellow. IMO, 355s look really nice in metallic colors and if the interior really is a navy blue (the flash may be showing it to be brighter than it is), I suspect that this is one really handsome car and you will not see another one like it on the road. For some that is good...others don't agree.

    If I was living in the states right now...I'd be tempted to put a bid in. It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

    Of course, make sure they've done the major belt servicing. The 355 F1 owners manual seems a bit odd and the clutch replacement makes you wonder how it was driven.

    A good independent Ferrari mechanic could check out the car and let you know what's really going on with it.
