    How much for Carrera S 19" ?

    Hi guys,

    As you probably I am looking for a used Cayman S and one of the options I will not buy it without are the 19" wheels.
    So... I was wondering if I could buy one with 18" wheels and then buy my favourite 19", the Carrera S 19"...
    Do you know how much Porsche sells them ?
    Do you know if they can be found somewhere else ?

    Hello BangoO,

    The wheel pictured on the above photo is the Carrera Sport wheel, not the Carrera S wheel (a.k.a. "lobster forks").

    Porsche sells the Carrera S wheel for Euro 4,800, and the Carrera Sport for Euro 5,500.

    You can always try eBay...

    To be honest, I would stick with the 18" wheels. More comfortable and cheaper to run.
    Btw don't order 19" wheels if the car does not have PASM...

    You are right it is the Carrera Sport wheels.
    Anyway.. thx for the answer, and... ouch
    I assume the price is without the tyres ?

    I definitely want 19" and PASM, I had a 987S with those before and want the same on my Cayman S

    AFAIK tyres are included.

    Do make sure that, if the car you buy has TPMS, then you buy wheels for cars with TPMS as well

    You're going to need new tyres anyway. 18" tyres don't fit on a 19" rim, do they?

    I know that OPCs sell tyres at ludicrous prices, but I'm unsure you'd lose that much money over buying the wheels on eBay + shipping & handling + buying new tyres + getting them fitted.

    Last time I had to buy 19" tyres for my Porsche, it was 3 times cheaper on the internet than at the Porsche dealer.
    So I'd rather buy my wheels from Porsche and the tyres on the internet

    Try wheelenhancement.com located in California. I used these guys to fit original equipment sport design wheels to my 986 boxster s. They offer the full line of original equipment Porsche rims at much better prices than the factory and they accept trades on your old factory wheels.

    Wheel Enhancement is great, but shipping to France could get pricey
