This is a VERY WELL color balanced photo. The color coming through my Sony LCD monitor to my eyes is EXACTLY what the color looked like in person. Whoever took the snap had a good digital camera. 
Before I got my order changed to Signal Yellow and natural dark grey interior, I had Seal Grey with Terracotta interior on order for my CGT. I really liked the Terracotta in person.

i would take cocoa over terracotta
the terracotta is way too orange and un-natural looking, sort of defeating both the idea of leather and the name...
cocoa is actually not purple, it is a very deep and rich chocolate colour
beauty in the eye of the beholder i suppose... i would just get dark grey natural or black

W8MM, having seen the terracotta in person, would you say that the color is roughly the same as Boxster Red? Is it more orange than BR, or is it more red?
I had Boxster red on my Arctic Silver '02 C4S, and I liked the color very much, though I often wished that it was closer to Ferrari's Bordeaux color (which is more of an oxblood).
For some reason, I just assumed Terracotta was exactly the same as Boxster Red, and that Porsche just decided to rename the color to avoid having an option that was available for 911s that had the word "Boxster" in it.

In person, it's easy to see why they call it "Terracotta".
It looks exactly like a terracotta flower pot or floor tile to my eye.
I don't remember Boxster Red that well, but I'm guessing that Terracotta would be more orange (or less red).
One of the influencing factors of my previous choice of Terracotta for the CGT was the luggage set that came with the car. The leather bags in that color looked really good away from the car (sitting on the bell captain's trolley), too.

Thanks for the insight. That's too bad that Porsche is not offering a truer red anymore. The Boxster Red was nice, but other manufacturers' reds are better (see, e.g., Ferrari, BMW, even Honda). Oh well, there's always color-to-sample, but at a ridiculous cost to time and money.
BTW, W8MM, few products exceed a buyer's expectations like yours.

My 993 has a great red interior - a true deep red (no orange at all) called Flamenco Red...

One of the reasons may be that - believe it or not - daylight reflected from bright interior colors tended to exceed the threshhold level of the infrared proximity sensors used in the 996's intruder alarm!

oh i've seen that , except it was called lipstick red and in a gemballa car... beats the hell out of any of those brown/red deviation colours anyday (ie. boxster red, terracotta, cinnamon)
