    1st997 - congratulations. Are you going to drive that thing in the snow, or wait for the warmer weather? I'm here in Michigan and don't think I will want to abuse my car with all the salt.

    Congrats! Weather is questionable here is CT tomorrow, so be careful and enjoy. Are you going to drive it through the winter or wait until the nicer weather comes along?

    Welcome to the Porsche Family Affair. Be careful with it. Remember the tires and brakes don't have full grip until a few hundred miles.

    Hi Rennteamers - and thanks for all your Best Wishes.

    I plan on driving it through the winter months but only when there's no snow, salt, or slush around. In other words, like the crazy fall weather we've had this past week here in CT. Depending upon the future weather we are going to be having here, I'd rather not risk this car (although I may need to learn it's snow characteristics...just in case). I've got an SUV and a S430 4-matic sedan for those 'non-Porsche' driving days. I'm holding off getting a snow tire / wheel set since I don't have a commute; thus the need is not there for me to have or use them on this car.

    Thanks Candide - your colors are also my exact color choices for a cabrio, if I had chosen to get one. With a black top: you get great looks AND you don't have to live with the visible creases that always appear on the other color tops. Enjoy your Cabrio and Drive Safe
