    So?
    Has anyone tried an X50 equiped Turbo yet?
    If yes, I am curious to find out how it compares with the standard 420 hp one.
    Let me know guys!!!

    Any chance that the X50 option will become standard for 2003 turbos?

    That's a shame.
    They did it for the carrera though, they had this 20hp option, and then, from 2002, all carrera have 320 hp but the whole engine is reworked.
    Well, I look forward to read a review now... bc to be honest, it is pricy for 30hp.

    It is very pricey for 30 HP more. But don't forget that it includes a modified exhaust system, new turbo chargers (K24 derivates), new intercoolers and a new gearbox (no oil cooler as on the GT2 though).
    The 20 HP upgrade on the MY 2002 911 was part of a pretty "radical" facelift, even if it doesn't look that way at first look. BTW: most facelifted 996 run pretty good, achieving almost GT3 acceleration performance. No kidding.
