Superb video - it really captures the feeling of exhilaration on the track - they key thing is the sound, the noise - it's just intoxicating

The 917 is the most astonishing racecar Porsche ever built IMHO. One of the 917 race drivers drove my GT3 on the Nordschleife in August and it was funny to watch how he tried to assume the typical 917 seating position

My 10 y/o walked in while I was watching this - I told her that the 917 to me is the greatest Porsche of all time and it's almost 40 years old - something her generation can't comprehend in this era where the latest /greatest thing comes every 6 months at the local Apple store.
The flat 12 makes an amazing noise near redline and the way it just walks by slower traffic on the main straight is other- worldly !
246 mph at Le Mans , too!
