Very interesting but with all those clutches and actuators in the front wheels, how much weight does it add?
Ferrari say half of what a traditional 4WD system weighs.
Ferrari also says the F458 does 0-60 in 3 seconds, weight less than what the magazines claim, and their cars don't have a spontaneous combustion issue.

The 458 actually does accelerate from 0-60 in 3 secs.

Lol this video was poorly done, im disappointed. Apart from the soundtrack which was taken from some porno, it wasn't as impressive as Porsches technical videos with that epic voice guy!
Anyways, technically this AWD seems to be pretty good and 50% lighter... This car will really need AWD 0.2% of the time, but it's good to have the option there.. i can see the demand in certain environments.

indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)
