    Advice on suitable luggage for GT3 please

    I have a GT3 on order (May production) but need some new luggage to go on holiday before then. My wife has sensibly suggested we buy something that will fit in the front trunk of the GT3.

    Have asked my OPC what size of bag would be appropriate and they have given me a brochure of customised Porsche luggage. This not only seems expensive but they only list sizes for the Carrera 2 and 4 (presumably the trunk size is different) and OPC cannot give me dimensions for the GT3 front trunk. Fair enough I supppose as they have only seen/supplied one car so far.

    Could I please ask a favour of someone with a 997 GT3 to measure the front trunk space and let me know the approx dimensions. I am wanting a trolley style case with pull handle and would like to get the largest one possible.

    Luggage space in the front is the same for:
    C4, GT3, Turbo at 95 l (3.4 cu.ft)
    Selections for Carrera 4 should fit.

    Can someone tell me why the GT3 luggage space is the same as AWD 997s? What is robbing the space given it doesn't have a front wheel drive like the AWD models? Also, what is at the back of the GT3 (where the rear seats of other 997 is) if you don't spec the CS option? Is it suitable for luggages?

    Maybe because of the much bigger tank fuel ? ( 92 liters instead of 62 )

    They use the AWD chassis for the GT3....stiffer

    I solved the problem ...no more luggage problems for me
    9.3 kg less

    Nice front strut brace!

    Despite what some claim, the brace does make a difference. Had one fitted to my C4S, and considering one for the GT3.
