We had one with us at the 'Ring this weekend. Such a lovely little thing, was also impressed how nicely it was put together, really puts a Lotus to shame. Would really be a huge shame if they killed it off, if it turns out to be a financial disaster I can't imagine any major automaker attempting a proper lightweight again.

It was profitable and in good track for future till covid-19. I am pretty sure the government will not let this happening as it will kill thousands of jobs. They will fund it. This is a successful reborn and would be idiotic to stop it.

I saw that. Also they're reintroducing a Renault 5 in EV format. Hope it's RWD like the mid-engine Turbo 5 rally car, but probably FWD.
I guess the EV Alpine 110 could be RWD though...
