    997 GT2 Color advise

    What color would you guys think is best on the GT2?

    Black or silver, as is true for all 911's.

    Good to see you back (khosh-omadi)

    Whenever Porsche has new high-end product we see you here .

    I would get something different. as far as I remember majority of your Porsches are either Silver or Black. Get a special paint like Pearl white or pearl yellow a la lambo colors.

    Pearl white with linen interior and painted wheels would look awesome.

    I would stick with the basic colours for this one.

    Black, silver, white, red.

    Cobalt would be nice too

    Thanks guys (especially Ron). Initially, when I saw the spy photos I thought white. But then my RS is White/Black so I wanted something different so I started thinking Basalt. The lines have really starting growing on me and I think black hides too much of it so I'm back to white or GT Silver.

    I'm hoping they show a few different colors at Frankfurt in September so I can make up my mind. Whatever the color, I think it's going to be sensational.

    I saw yesterday the color options.. Unfortunately they are not going to saw any different color.. Only this new brown one which I dont like...

    I am afraid it will be Too white.. Take under consideration that the clubsport version can be only black interior and it has no black spoiler or mirrors in the back like the 996 Gt2 clubsport...

    IMO for that kind of cars (GT2 / GT3) it should be a race track colour.... white, guards red, speed yellow, black or silver.

    Hi Amir,

    I think it should be either basalt black or some non-metallic colour like carrara white or guards red. It's too bold a car to choose a colour that makes it simply blend into the background. It needs to announce itself.

    I seem to remember you have a CGT and used to have a TT in GT silver. Well, maybe something a little more adventurous this time round?

    Whichever colour you pick, I am sure it's going to be a fabulous addition to your stable.
