Le Chef:
Nice shots, nice car. But "lots" of snow is relative.
Le Chef beat me to it with both of those thoughts.
I see that additional problems are currently being caused for traffic authorities in the UK because they are running out of "gritting" salt. Maybe someone should tell them that other countries which have to cope with a lot more snow than the UK have considerably reduced or eliminated the use of salt over the last couple of decades, due to the environmental damage it was causing. They spread stone grit instead, which may not melt the snow and ice on the roads, but it does help provide traction to keep vehicles moving. The elimination of salt hasn't done cars any harm either.
Another difference is that, in countries / areas which regularly have real winters, the use of winter tires is almost universal. It only takes one car on summer tires to close a road completely when snow or ice set in.
