So let's hope the new red isn't the 50-60th annviversay thing. It would make sense, as the new metallic red is the current formula 1 colour and has more to do with formula 1 than with Ferrari's anniversary. Similar to the rosso scuderia of the Challenge Stradale.
But hey, you never know with Ferrari.

Rossi, I just had a chat with my dealer, the 50-60th Anniversary is not 1 color but a color panel. You can choose between several Historic colors. No RED in it!!!

George I would stay away from dark colors on the 430. They tend to hide the lines of the car.

That red with the grey stripes looks very good.

Actually, many of these more "unusual" combinations allow the buyer/driver to alert the world re: his tastes/lack thereof.....

Would argue that F/P/AMG should streamline their mfg (and disintermediate aftermkt shops) by pre-spec'g some fraction of their cars in combos like white/tan; XXL gold-colored wheels; lowered; super-dark tinted windows; XXL cupholders; ample-sized driver's seat in a perma-recline position; and claims of extra 100hp "tuning" for a mere $100 or so, etc....co-brand this "package-spec" w/some fashionable rapper/Cristal, etc.....and ship these "value-priced" cars to mkts w/appropriate "tastes" like FL/OC/MC/LI/China, etc.....or perhaps these repaints/mods are what F dealers should do to traded-in F's in many mkts to make them more palatable for the "different" tastes of the used F buyer....and more profitable for the dealer....

Dina is a good friend... gonna call her this week and look into ordering an F430, not the SC... I am thinking of one, only if I can manage it on my sister's UK passport... no way I'm paying $100k in customs, and another $25k in VAT

what do you think of white? not so common on a Ferrari...

That would be great! I'm sure you'll fall in love with that car. They still have one allocation for the F430 Coupe this year

This could be your chance to spec the F430 at your own taste! Concerning the registration it's doable under your sister's passport, I'm doing the same, NO WAY paying 100000$ too.. So now that's an issue you won't worry about.
White is absolutely awesome on the F430,"BUT" it takes real guts to get your 1st Ferrari in white...

i agree with george here... white on a 430 maybe kinda rrisky, if i were you i would go for yellow, but i already hear you saying me that you are a banker, and that you want something more discreet. a 430 will never be discreet, even in beige.. since you already had your first355 in white , go red this time IMO

Congratulations! That car sound fantastic.
Do yourself a favor and get rid of the iPod adapter. 4.3 liter V8 will be your symphony!
(Why in the world does Ferrari clutter up the interior with useless devices such as a stereo - it just adds weight!)
