    Flat tyres

    Last week I had a rock puncture my tyre and the hole was too big for the gel to block. I had to wait 3 days to get a new tyre delivered to me in the outback.
    I have enquired about a spare wheel (the one in the spares catalog) but my dealer says it is not available for some reason.

    I will have to buy a space saver I suppose, but the Bose woofer is the under the floor where a normal spare goes.

    Are there any other options?

    If you're living far away outside the city, I think this is the best solution for you. Not all people like how it looks but for your needs, it should be perfect.

    It depends on what your subwoofer looks like. If it looks like the one below, no problem. The space saver spare will fit over the top.

    If you have the large diameter subwoofer that has a round cavity on it's underside, then you may also have the auxiliary battery underneath. If you have the large diameter subwoofer but no extra battery, it is possible to live without the subwoofer. Just unplug and remove the subwoofer and put in the spacesaver spare. You might try it and see what you think. There are some Cayenne owners in Austin that have done that.

    It may also be possible to order the subwoofer you see in the photo, I don't know.

    This is the spare wheel holder that my dealer tells me is unavailable. (apparently there are a few problems with it?)
    I don't really want to put anything on the back if I can help it as the rearward visability isn't that fantastic to begin with, however I think it looks quite smart from the rear.

    Yes I have the larger sub woofer.
    I will look at the possibility of removing it and changing to the smaller one.
    I think a space saver is a better bet than using the gel.
