Silver 997 and Short Shift

Hi, anyone got some good real-life pictures of a silver 997?

And an interior picture of any Porsche with a Short Shift?

The dealers apparently have the official catalogs with plenty of silver 997 photos - just a few days to wait.

Short Shift lever looks exactly like standard. The different "leverage" is effected by the parts hidden unter the leather boot.

I see, could you explain to me what is the difference between the short shift and regular? Advantages/disadvantages?

The short-throw shifter does exactly what the name implies; it shortens the throws. That does, however, come at a small price - shifting may require a bit more effort, but not that much. The general consensus is that short shifters are a great upgrade for the 911.

Couldnt agree more

I have a short shifter on my TT and I consider it the best upgrade I had. Its also easy to operate and improves the overall performance (accelaration wise).

yup, brochure's were out here in Hong Kong since the start of July, most of the options are listed, including the sport shift and sport exhaust, which it says introduction is planned for 10/2004.

keep in mind, the sport shift will need an increased effort to shift when cold....i'm sure after the tranny warms up, it'll be nice!
