Look what they're achieving out of the displacement they are working with. One could easily argue that majorly detuning that stuff to still sick power would most definetely well extend the duty cycle. But, that's not how F1 works.
This year, the F1 motors have to last two weekends, including Fri practice, Sat qualifying, and Sun race...
