I don't have them but I have seen enough positive reports about them that I wish I had ordered that option. I think maybe RC has the sport seats on his Cayenne Turbo. From what I can tell from owner reports and photos, the sport seats are very comfortable, provide better lateral support and do not look at all out of place in an SUV. They have a relatively conservative appearance for sport seats.

I haven't seen them but when I asked a straight talking salesman at one of the OPC's I looked at buying my car from he said that he didn't think they were worth the additional money over the standard seat as they only gave modest additional thigh support. I am 6'1" and find the standard seats lack under thigh support at the front of the seat and are the only real negative point I have about my car. The salesman was a Cayenne model specialist and had used a car with sports seats for several months. He is at least 6'4" and had the same under thigh support issue as I do and confirmed that because the Porsche sports seat does not have the adjustable pull out front section that you find on Audi or BMW sports seats, they therefore do not provide a huge additional amount of support for the money.

This was a big issue for me, and I drove the salesman crazy until he found a demo with the sport seats for me to try out. They really did not feel that much more supportive for me, even with fairly "vigorous" driving, and they apparently are so rarely ordered, I was afraid they would adversely affect resale. More importantly, I was concerned that my wife would complain about the seats, as they are slightly firmer. In the end, since I ordered the powerkit with the slightly firmer suspension, I'm glad I went for the "comfort" option. I can't imagine what the sport seats would feel like on a daily basis without the air suspension. However, I would say this has to be extremely subjective and I would suggest anyone do what I did, if you can find a sport seat demo anywhere nearby.

Amazing that there is no cost penalty for taking this option in Germany. In the UK they are a Pounds714 GBP option.
They don't look much different to the standard seat which is pretty poor when you consider the nice seat options Porsche offer in the 997 and Boxster. Why couldn't they have gone to the supplier that Audi use for the sport seats?
I really feel like I'm perched "on" the seat rather than sitting comfortably in it most of the time. I miss my BMW sports seats
