Turbo Powerkit

Took delivery of a Basalt Black Turbo with powerkit, panorama roof, sport tailpipes, and sport design package. Power, braking, and handling are outstanding. Sport design package has silver accents that break up the black color nicely. Also sport techno 20" wheels and sport seats.

Congratulations!

I hope you enjoy every minute of it. How long did it take between order and delivery?

Now, could you please, please answer the questions that have been haunting me as I decide whether or not to invest in this option? First, is the throttle hesitation any less pronounced with the power kit? Second, how would you describe the suspension relative to the "stock" turbo model, - significantly more firm or just a little more so, - much flatter handling or just a little more so?

Congratulations ! Would like to see some photos. Basalt Black - really nice colour, I think the best one, for Cayenne

I cant remember - how do sport seat look like ?

At this point I do not notice any throttle hesistation, actually the acceleration is immediate and strong. Only drove a Turbo once before, but the suspension on mine (in sport mode) is definitely flat and not prone to understeer in fast bends. The braking is what makes the kit in my opinion.

Thanks so much! Please keep us updated on your experience with it. I may have a chance to test-drive one soon, but such a short drive will likely be of limited value compared to your long-term experience and there are many of us eager to hear the details.

PS:
A salesman told me this week that Porsche is no longer offering the Panorama roof on the Cayenne. If that's true, I'm glad you got yours in under the wire. Can anyone confirm or deny this claim?

Yes, my sales rep told me at delivery that the panorama roof is in limited supply for the model year. I will post pics soon.
