    Once again the 997 was beaten.
    This time however, there may be some cause for some optimism.
    Although they finished 1:30.00 behind the leading Ferrari, the Felbermayer -Proton 997 posted almost the same quickest lap as the fastest Ferrari (2:00.359 for the Ferrari and 2:00.375 for the Porsche).
    Also - the Porsche made 6 pit stops versus 5 made by the Virgo Ferrari and spent 1:29 more time in the pits than its opponent.
    Had this not happened , the race could have been different.
