Our fellow board User Stephen just sent me these two photographs from his 996 Turbo trip in Eastern Europe.
Both pictures have been taken in Romania, one in Transilvania and one in the capital Bucharest from his Hotel.
On both pictures, you can see his Turbo.
Stephen is now on his way to Instanbul/Turkey through Bulgaria (and I have to admit that he's brave to drive this route).
I really hope he will post a nice driving report with more pictures when he's back home.
BTW: he is kind of lucky, his car has diplomatic license plates and he got a diplomatic passport. Two things which make driving through Eastern Europe much easier and much more enjoyable.
If somebody has questions about driving through Hungary/Romania, send me a private e-mail or ask here on the forum. I'm an old "East Block" veteran too.
