You're right! Someone reported seeing one for sale for EUR 750k
Another one going for 1.25M
Wow - 6x gain with no work is pretty good... I would not feel secure paying that amount for one...

but then " invisible " daily driver cars like non AMG S class, Audi A8 , Panamera Turbo S, top versionTesla Model S , etc.etc., dont look like $150k -190k cars either , whereas Bentleys DO look like " money " for not much more.
same for coming softer sprung McLaren 570 GT with its ingenious luggage area " hatchback " ...supposedly developed as their comfortable " everyday to work supercar " like what the 991 Turbo S is , and at same price , but looks like a twice as expensive car without the " bizzaro " look and past gold chained owner " baggage" 200+ K Lambos... a very viable choice for those of us where the dealerships are each just a couple miles away and neither car is ever to leave the urban island radius of 100 miles or so wherein all our road icons of the SF / north coast/ Monterey/ Big Sur lie !

This is the best looking behind any Porsche has had in a while...
I still don't get the stripes and side decals, though, and why anyone would want them when they don't want a wing, not to mention they trash up the whole look, like a beautiful woman made up like a cheap whore.
for the buy and hold speculators , though , they are looking 20+ years down the road where they probably believe the most valuable ones will be the two white body ones with either red or green stripes and matching side lettering , not non-striped ones of any color that looks like a wide body 991.1 C4S / GTS cpe with GT3 wheels if not paying attn , since the 911R 's current relative performance and test numbers vs each and all of its current stablemates means nothing in the future ..it will all be about the " show " and is , imo , part of the lust and baked-in value for THE 911 street icon ...the '73 Carrera RS ...its wild for the time oem graphics and matching painted wheels later to jumpstart what would become the Asian econocar " ricer - look " industry that still continues to this day !

You say that like it's a good thing.
I say that as an acknowledgment of what will carry the day , from an auction standpoint , 25 yrs from now !

acky:Two more offers appear one for 250k one for 279k.
The sellers are stupid. I don't think they will get the car after offering it before they have it in "hands".
This is excactly what Porsche don't want.
i had my GT3RS announced in autoscout24 back when i wanted to sell it. it wasn't even built then but got delivered nevertheless. once you have a contract you will get the car.

DaveGordon:I wonder if GT Silver and red stripes are possible.. might be a bit of fun - reference to a certain 550..
I think Grant said they are decals and can come not installed, so I don't see why not. Long term I wonder how these decals will hold up - an odd decision for what is supposed to be a collectible car.

The black spoiler piece when closed is an eye sore for starters. The cut out parts in the back bumper looks like an add on. On the GT3 they complement the rear wing aggressiveness for they don't work so well without the wing. The rest is nice though but overall not as composed as the regular 991 or the GT3s

Mike S:Got an allocation for one!!! Now the waiting game begins
Still can't decide on white or silver, given that the 991 RS is already silver....
White with green lines! Keeper!
I'm going for white with green stripes :)
Awesome ! Could the dark wheels be ordered with this combo? IMO it would looks great.

Yes, that is what I ordered (but 99.9999% will not get allocation).

Yeah, I think the 991.2 generation in general is an eyesore from the rear with that new black plastic looking vent.
BjoernB:Can somebody photoshop a black one with green stripes ?
No need - just use the Netherlands configurator
