Who cares about MPG on cars like this? Doesn't one just adopt the LA mantra of using 87 oct when one has "cash flow issues"???
Keep in mind equivalent cars get about 1-2 MPG less in CA vs NYC due to fuel diffces (so EU MPG figs may be difficult to interpret vs CA fuel)....and consider that 997C4S seems to have a 1 gall larger fuel tank than 996.....presumably 997TT will have similar fuel tank cap incr.....
Sure, F has more appropriately-sized fuel tanks than P....but which fuel tanks are more collision-resistant?![]()

I don't think mpg is really important in this market. The range of the car is important for those who use their cars on long trips. I for one would have ordered a bigger tank had it been available. Why? Because in Europe on Autobahns, Autostrada and Autoroutes at high cruising speeds, or in the hills, the range on the standard tank is poor. With a TT it must be worse! At least the GT3 gets a decent tank.
With a 4WD car Porsche obviously can't do much because there's no space. But on the 2WD cars they should give us the choice of the bigger tank.
BTW, the f430 has a 95 litre tank. The turbo gets 67. IMHO the difference is more than any potentially better mpg of the TT.
