    Default battery? My 997S refuses to start

     

    My 997S refuses to start. Following error message "Defect PSM", "defect PASM" display.


    I think that it is about a problem of battery....


    After a few hours, the car eventually starts with great difficulty but certain commands do not work (PSE,  sport mode....).


    Your opinion?

    Definitely battery!

    Anecdotal evidence - The guy I sold my Boxster to was the most un-trusting person I had the bad fortune to meet, and throughout the process thought I was lying about every satement I made about the car.  Anyway, he takes the car and as luck would have it, 2 days afterwards, the car battery decides to die.  The warnings as you mentioned started coming up, and the windows would not work, and he thought all his fears had come true, and I had sold him a dud!!  But he changed the battery, and I haven't heard from him since!!
