    It is fat alright, but not heavy, and the fatness is part of the equation why it's so fast around the Ring.

    It's a performance car after all, not a mountain cruiser (there are better cars for that)... that Touring advert is really misleading smiley

    I've been trying to finalize a Touring config, but the 2-tone interiors don't work correctly (at all) on the configurator.  Smiley

    I've been trying to finalize a Touring config, but the 2-tone interiors don't work correctly (at all) on the configurator.  Smiley

    You can have all the off menu stuff and get the exact 2-tone you want.

    Someone else did mentioned about the unfair advantage the 'big spenders' have. Well it is what it is, we paid them enough for them to actually listen.

    Yes, most of us now realize that... but wondering if there is an opportunity for some enterprising company to make a larger / high downforce ducktail boot lid, that better rebalances the F / R downforce after the picnic table is removed....

    The full size ducktail that was introduced on the 73 Carrera RS 2.7 is much larger than the little lip on the bottom half of the 992 GT3 bi-plane rear wing.  Even in its much larger form, it didn't produce any significant downforce.  All it did was eliminate lift (and had the unexpected effect of reducing drag while eliminating lift - higher top speed with the ducktail).

    Is it just me, or is it striking how many pictures there are of 3/4 rear and how few there are of the front? Seems like marketing realizes it's not really a looker when seen from the front...

    Thanks for posting all the nice pictures. Touring in Agate or normal GT3 in a blue shade would be my choice. Would be really nice to try this beast on the ring some day indecision

    Marketing yes, but rather because the rear differentiates the Touring from the winged GT3.

    Wonder if the new front end will find its way onto more pedestrian 911s during the next PI update or if it remains exclusively motorsports division property.

    Originally I hate the silver-grey palette, but after the silver Taycan, I think this grey works really well on the new Touring. 

    On my prepared Touring config, this is the color I chose.

    I can second that opinion, all my friends who races the new Cup car positively loved it. They are loving the new found front end grip. 911 were lazy at turn-ins before, but now 'agile' is a word that's been associated with it.

    razor sharp with no parasite movements allowing the front to do exactly what you want

    This looks very promising indeed..... I'm want to get the Specialized 3d printed saddle but it's out of stock here, everyone is raving about how comfortable it is.

    Will try to find it in Italy or Switzerland when I visit in few weeks.
