    does anyone know what this part is?

    I was changing my S rear valence to a TT rear valence yesterday and from above fell this:











    it is made of two pieces; the top part spins (you can see the line where they attach parallel to my table in the last picture) should I worry?

    I am no where near a Porsche dealership

    the closest one is about an hour away...

    the piece came from the upper side of the wheel well, not towards the valence piece itself. anyways should I not worry and just drive my pepper around - I have been slightly more than hesitant to do so and its painful

    Have you tried looking up in the other-side wheel well to see if you can find that same piece. Perhaps both wheel wells are the same...

    part is back on car

    the other side was completely blocked off by black foam / plaster

    the part happened to go under the fuel tank. slipped right on under a white spongy? cylinder

    thanks for your input, no I can drive my car worry-less again!!
