Porsche OEM Car Cover

Just a question in regards to the Porsche OEM car covers. Is there any major differences in the Indoor vs the Outdoor cover? According the Porsche site it states that the Outdoor one is water repellent but that is all really. Just seeing which one I am better off with before I start using the one I have(indoor cover).

I have the OEM indoor cover. Would never use it outdoors for an extended period or in wet weather because it is porous. This is preferable for me because I garage my car and want a cover that can "breathe", thereby allowing any moisture that develops on the car (ie. due to temp changes) to escape.

I understand the outdoor cover comes with an "anti-theft" system, which I think is just a lockable band around the edge of the cover. It probably is a good cover to have if you don't have a garage space handy or are on a roadtrip where the car is parked overnight or a couple days while you sight-see. If on the car over a long period, you'd probably need to remove it occasionally to allow accumulated moisture to evaporate.

I agree with sato... would only use the indoor cover for that.

Agree, love my indoor cover- sweet.

It makes my "baby" look like a fine woman in a form fitting dress.

The material is very nice, and the crest/ Porsche writing looks great too.

Anyone care to share a review of the outdoor cover?

Thanks all for the info and the comments on the indoor cover. I got one for Christmas so I just wanted to make sure it was what I needed before I put it to use and then unable to make an exchange if needed.
