But still not an RS 
BTW , my brother had the MR back spoiler installed + they put the front cup lip to balance the downforce . Looks good . Just the lip does not have a 100% fit as at the top of the arch it looks vers slightly not integrated , but that is only visible for a connoisseur . He also had the suspension upgrade ( not the full suspension ) + alignments done . Result is excellent .

the-missile:They know supply a fully integrated part on the upper side of the lip. Good buddy got the entire package including mag wheels and full suspension parts from KW. It is a monster now.
He has that upper side of the lip ( on his GT3.2 ) but it find it not to be 100% integrated , but as said it is a very small detail and not everyone will notice . Your buddy's car must indeed be a monster now with the KW suspensions and the wheel . But all that together has put the price of his car above the price of an RS

Well apple to apple, it is still cheaper. Mag wheels will require the full WP and still the RS will not have this great KW suspension. My plan is to keep the manual so I will have to go Manthey way as well

Don't mean to depress you, but the PDK has very small advantage in laptimes. 3 seconds on Nordschleife, fraction of a second per minute of track time. 0.7 sec slower from Touring than PDK with Wing and Ram-Air for 2 minute 11 sec lap here with Andy Pilgrim:

Or maybe it shows you that you can be faster than PDK with these Manthey upgrades
At my local track, the only other .2 GT3 (Non-RS) that I have met that was faster was another Manual (driver is an occasional partner of Kobalt at Ring)

Why don’t you go half way like mine? Manthey suspension kit, alignment and the standard wing on full attack. Very happy with that setup, and feels very capable.

Had a great few laps yesterday on a somewhat treacherous Nordschleife, dry mixed with greasy and cold. Had a big moment but all good!

your fear about the mag wheels is a bit overrated as the mag used to be crap some few years ago but till the last decade, they are robust and withstand the hit. 
see for instance the last GT2RS Manthey Package, they let the mag wheels in place and even warranty the package for a year...we all know how the ring goes with the curbs that you are required to play with to get some good timing

Where it got ugly in these cold conditions was at Pflanzgarten 2, the rear always tends to get light there when you begin pushing. But now on with cold greasy patches, light translates in suddenly sideways. But clenching but we got through alright, I think if I had braked/lifted the armco would have been olive green now.
