    To polish or not to polish?

    Do you think it is ok to polish a brand new car? What about the original clear coat? Would it be affected?
    There is a shop near by that has a service called "lustering sealent" and I am tempted to take the car there but some friends keep telling me that new cars need not to be polish. Any suggestions?

    They don't need to be polished when new... i use maguires detailing spray... works for me.

    Yeah, dont mess with it. Keep it nice on a regular basis with Simoniz or some other wax/sealer product.
