Why does porsche state that gt3 has the highest rev engine

When everybody knows that ferrari's Challenge Stradalle reved up until 8500 revs and has 425 hp. Someone explain this paradox

where do they say it is the highest rev?

it is well known that there are many trackday specials (yet still road legal prodcution cars) that rev well past 10k, albiet on motorcycle engines mind you.

I thought they stated it is the most powerful N/a 3.6l engine...

Ferrari Stradalle has 305 kw or 414.8 hp

If thats not about revs I dont know what is

that could mean anything, if you want to get technical and talk about semantics... its just marketing.

it's just marketing blah blah since they narrow this statement to the engine's deplacement.

like "the toyota yaris is the fastest car ever in the 1.5-liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-i class"

btw, i am the greatest looking guy in the immediate vicinity!

The six-cylinder engine reaches its nominal output at 7,600 rpm. At 8,400 rpm, the engine speed limit again lies 200 revolutions higher than for the previous model. This makes it a world leader in its engine-size class

This is the quote from porsche.

360 modena has exacly the same size engine and does 8500 revs,

I know its just marketing, but they stated something witch is not true. witch is not nice, becouse some kid that reads this artice will think that gt3 realy is the highest reving machine. And what happened to porsches famous modesty.

Dont get me wrong I think the new gt3 is faster the F430 I just don't think its nice to the kids

Well 360 is retired, they could mean among the cars on sale today.

I mean, somebody can be the world leader on any sport nowadays but not the best ever. Still they will say the world's number 1 and so on....

Although the sentence from Porsche PR is completely useless IMO

could it be that Porsche has a six cylinder and Ferrari 8? So different classes??
