    They taped over P O R S C H E  GT3 so we that won't know what car it is... 

    They did a good job covering that up, I was under the impression it was the cab!

    It looks like the air vent has been incorporated into the wing. I think that is what Nick is referring to.

    That's correct. The taped area used to be where the air vent was.

    For reference, the .1GT3 did 0-60 in 3.3 sec. .2GT3 3.2 sec. Extrapolating for hp the increase in hp will not be that great.Smiley

    Well, nobody was expecting much more improvement on 0-60 (this is mostly about traction).  1/4 mile time would indicate better.  Also, there is often a confusion between 0-100 kph and 0-60 mph times (difference is sometimes as much as 0.2 sec), if this matters...

    EDIT:  Just looked it up and 0-100 kph of last GT3 was 3.3s 0-100 kph (and was 3.1 for 0-60), so my guess is that new 3.2 time is for 0-100 kph and not 0-60 (otherwise new car is slower than last one).  0-60 time should be about 3.0 sec if 0-100 kph is 3.2 sec...

    All the .2 really needs is a reliable engine and a manual transmission option and it will be the 991 GT3 the first one should have been.

    I don´t read this GT3 thread often, maybe I will tell you something you know already:

    No wingless (touring) option for 991.2 GT3 - instead we will get a 991.2 T (touring) version. Porsche wanted to call it 911 CS for club sport but BMW didn't agree to give them green light - so it will be 911 t and will be "club sport" variant.

    How does the Touring version differ from the regular version?

    If it is race version then it probably will not be street legal in the US.

    Are you saying there is a Touring or "club sport" version of the 991.2 GT3 (version with roll bar), or is the 911T a new model that is essentially a wingless GT3?

    991.2 non GT3 as a touring model. Take a 991.2 strip some parts and exchange some with lighter parts, limit it and there you are. Of coyotes will be more sporty then regular 991.2

    I think Grant meant this touring version is turbo engine, as I expected.

    But I assume turbo then, since there is no other normally aspirated engine to use. I doubt they will make a new one only for this model, unless the same will go into the next GT4 too.

    Pimping out the 991 till it reaches the end of production line, already started with the Panamera in 2017

    The huge bill that landed on VW's a*s with dieselgate case is beginning to take its toll
