Such a thing only couald have happend, because the guy asked his wife which interior color to order, and this must be the result of a long argument and two very "strong" characters.
It makes sense, practically speaking to have the black leather on the drivers side, this being the side that's used the most. I like cream leather but have always been put off by the maintenance of it as I can't afford to own a car which doesn't get driven very often. So, although odd I can understand it if it was done from this point of view. The finish on those seats are really nice.
I think it's great and it only goes to show that anything goes if you pay extra. In a Porsche, it probably wouldn't cross anyone's mind to go in this direction, but a Murciélago Roadster is so over the top that anything goes. The craftsmanship is excellent even in the pictures.
