Are you sure it is Speed Yellow and not the "normal" CGT-color Fayence Yellow?
I thought both cars were exactly the same shade of yellow, but I'm not as "up" on Carrera GT colours as I'd like to be..
so I do stand to be corrected if I'm wrong here.

You'll notice that the CGT is a more vibrant version of the same hue. That's because it is actually Fayence yellow while the Cayman is truly in Speed yellow.
Both colors start out with exactly the same hue and then some grey or brown is added to get the Speed yellow mixture.

Thanks for the correction - I guess you can see the difference in shade in my photo #360509 above. 
@ w8mm so where does your signal yellow fit in compared with fayence and speed yellows, out of interest please?
Once the dates for the 2008 FoS are confirmed I'll post them up here - let's see if we could put together an International Meet for that event
