CloseWho would prefer a Panamera S over a 4S model and why? Is the handling difference noticeable?
My dealer has a carbon grey S with a lot of sporty goodies ( air, anti-roll, sport-exhaust, sport chrono, 20' rims) which he might price pretty aggressively since the car sits on the lot for quite a while. I am still waiting for his quote.
Your take on this?
For you guys who drive in the snow, I would be looking at 4S. But for me where the only time I encounter snow is if I drive it to a ski resort (in which case I would use a SUV), a 4S just adds unnecessary weight. It's not as if we have 750nm of torque or something.
I have driven both. The S is more entertaining and little more loose without being unstable of course. The 4S is more like a train on rails but you lose the fun factor.
Of course my comparison was in totally dry conditions. I can say, choose the S, unless 4WD offers a big advantage given the climate conditions in your area.
