    Intresting thing about 997s!

    I was checking http://www.track-challenge.com/main_e.asp

    And i found that 997s is as fast or faster then most of the sport cars!! just compare yourself and post your comments! Its trully amazing for the car with just only 355 hp!! I really wish they could make it 380ish hp.

    P.s I was brawsing AWE site, and they claim +39 crank hp and +31 crank tq with their full exhaust and Headers, do you thin it's possible? That would rock. 400hp carrera S is what we need

    WOW... Thanks for letting us know..cool site

    a 997 cs is really the best car in the world, where else would you be able to get a car that performs that well ( in all areas), but can also be used a a comfortable everyday car...

    apparently the 997 with PCCB outbrakes a CGT from 100-0

    But doesnt the CGT have PCCB aswell? bigger ones??

    Its queer that the 997C 3.6 outperforms the 997CS 3.8 in terms of 0-100km/h and elasticity acceleration? Is this a mistake?

    That is odd..
    its says: 0 - 100km/h carrera = 4,7 ; carrera S = 4,9
    80 - 120 carrera = 5,0 : carrera S = 5,1
    on the track the CS is only just faster aswell
    Strange... maybe it was because of different drivers/conditions...

    Also says a carrera s outperforms a GT3rs thru a 36m slalom(slightly)

    maybe you confused 996??


    and the 997S reported 4.8 0-100 not 4.9....but isnt 16 seconds for 200 km/h slower than the manufacturer reports?

    Doesn't matter what Porsche come up with, you guys will always want more. Even in your post you state that you wish it had 380 bhp, then a ew lines later say that you wish it had 400. I guess someone somewhere else wants 425bhp. Why don't you guys buy Turbos if BHP is so important. Its torque that makes a driving experience great, not bhp so much, as this is just about top speed.

    The 997S with or without power kit has plenty of grunt. Be happy!!
