    I didn't realise the head lights were that different! The 997 looks a bit of a puppy compared to the Cayman.

    Actually it is not. 997S high is 1300mm with PASM and 1290mm with -20mm/LSD. Normal 997 is 1310mm, with PASM or -20mm/LSD same as 997S with these stuff(PASM is standard on 997S). Cayman S is 1305mm stock and 1295mm with PASM.

    Composite of two together done in Photoshop. Adjusted for scale - number plates matched!! Pretty similar!!

    I still like the looks of both....the Cayman does look a bit more aggresive while the 997 still retains its classic 911 look.

    I have the Cayman bumper on my Boxster... and with open roof it really looks wide and low. I'm not a big fan of the bubbly roof of the Cayman (esp. frontview).

    Bigger? I can't see that, seems the Cayman is lower and shorter.

    TheCayman's front end (head lights and grill) really resemble the Cayenne.

    That's the spirit :P

    Personally I think the Cayman looks great from the front and I like it better from that view. From the rear the 911 wins. Both look amazing from all angles but I have yet to see a Cayman S in person but I love the 987 Boxster.

    Recent 997 S owner here and I would like to say that indeed to my eye the cayman looks better from the front, but I too feel that the rear is somewhat lacking (maybe I like big butts).
