    I think the changes are positive but aren't enough to cause me to trade from my 10 month old 2005 Turbo. I have factory warranty until Feb. 2010, so I will probably keep it until then or until the totally new Cayenne or something else interesting comes out.

    Is "PSC" right with the statement that PSE is available on the facelift Cayenne now

    Can someone confirm or disclaim please

    I guess I should have been more specific. I must be missing the site that has the details that I'm looking for. Many vehicles have a "Sport" mode, but few of them make the amount of difference that turning off PSM does in a CayenneTT or hitting the Sport Chrono on a 997TT, and each of those is, of course, different from the other. Personally, if it doesn't go a long ways toward addressing the hesitation issue without doing away with most of PSM's real-world safety advantages, I think it falls short of the mark, since I find this to be the major deficiency in daily driving. Is there a link to more details? Thanks!

    From page 26 of the brochure Momentum:

    On the Cayenne S equipped with Tiptronic S, the Sport button is also used to activate the optional sports exhaust system.

    But what a pitty that PSE is may be available earliest in summer or later ( happened on the 997 too )

    I want to take up my question where the 45 hp are gone on the Cayenne S

    Those 45 hp give rise to 0.2 sec faster acceleration while 40 hp lead to 1.0 sec on the standard Cayenne and while 50 hp lead to 0.5 sec on the CT.

    What happened to the Cayenne S

    I'm sorely disenchanted

    The more power you have the more you'll need to significantly improve acceleration. The Cayenne Turbo uses 500 bhp to get to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, so this time isn't that far fetched.

    If it only yields 0.2 sec faster, I wonder if I'll even feel it during day to day driving.

    If the stated times were completely accurate then I would say no, you would not likely feel much difference in day to day driving. I suspect, however, that the PAG marketing department has some input on what these numbers are and their relation to other models in the lineup. All the performance specs are likely conservative. Some may be more conservative than others. Wait until a real world model comes out and can be subjected to real world testing.

    on US website FL Cayenne S is 6.4 vs. 6.8 that would .4sec

    there is no diesel coming for the Cayenne, only a Hybrid version.
    it is a HUGE shame as I would jump at the chance of a big diesel in the Cayenne.
