McLaren Facility
Here's a great video from the guys that Chris Harris is working for now. Not a huge fan of some of the personalities on the channel, but this is a great look at the MP4's production, as well as the new facility.
To geek out on architecture and design for a moment, I've always thought that Foster was a bit 'over the top' in some ways, but this facility is so impressively well-suited for Mclaren - and has a pretty interesting aesthetic. Not that I'd want my living room to look like that, but the fetishistic level of attention to detail that has been given to this facility makes me smile. It makes me not feel so strange for thinking that things should just 'be a certain way' - some part of me relates to Ron and his details...
