    Can I get a number on the AMV8's USA price?

    Sorry but I don't have anything specific.
    I heard that the DB8 base version will be priced around 90000 Euro in Germany (incl. 16% VAT), this would be between the 997 Carrera and 997 Carrera S price tag.

    Wierd, in every single magazine I've looked, it always said that the base price would be around 100k or above.
    I hope you're right though

    I know. But a friend who is a AM customer told me that his dealer got a 90 k preliminary figure from the importer.
    If AM asks 100 k or more for the base model, they surely won't sell as many as they hope to sell.
    AM looks at this car as a 997 competitor and 997 prices start in the low 80s.

    I would never buy AM because of service/repair difficulties here in Germany but the DB8 really looks stunning.
