Sequential gearbox vs. manual
I recently placed an order for a 997S and delivery is expected in late November. I will only get to order the actual specs in about two weeks and plan to go for seal grey and full black leather with sport seats. The car is expected to cost around 65,000 Euros here.
I would have loved to go for a sequential gearbox but since thats not availble yet i will be going for a manual. Here in Dubai the traffic is bad but dont believe in the current auto / tiptronic, fine for a cayenne but not a 911. Since i plan to keep the car for around 4 years i wanted to know what you guys feel will happen to the resale value of the car once the sequential gearbox is out on the 997? will most people be prefering the sequential over the manual? Thanks...
