    No... I'm done with "mods". I really like the horizontal lines of the Boxster's side air intakes better than the curved lines of the Cayman's intakes. I think that the horizontal lines stretch the car visually a little. I also like the rear bumper of the Boxster over the Cayman's. But that's all just personal preference of course.

    OK: Here's my question: Why not just buy a Boxster and add a Cayman engine and Cayman front bumper? Wouldn't that be cheaper than $30K?

    Good question... wonder how easy it would be to sell the 3.2 onto a 2.7, or even a 986 owner?

    Wow... I really wonder how many people saw the pics thinking "THAT GUY IS INSANE!!!!"

    I should have written the truth instead:

    "Okay... here's the deal: I really like the Gallardo Spyder, but I simply didn't like the Lamborghini look on it. After 8 months of hard work and a 150,000 USD investment into bodywork, I managed to give its look a more sporty appeal."

    Congrats on the Cayman nose - have you considered the rear, with the cayman spoiler and exhaust? My master plan has me doing the nose and rear at the same time I have RUF drop in the 997 S 3.8L motor. I'll wait until I get out of the warranty, then start the frankenstein process.

    I first want to get myself a good digicam instead of this lousy mobile phone cam. Also the weather really sucks ATM (snow)... Next pics will show all the beauty.
