    Again - I beg to differ. They most certainly are.

     Definition of a niche market:

    A niche market is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing; therefore the market niche defines the specific product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, production quality and the demographics that is intended to impact.

    Every single product that is on sale can be defined by its niche market. As of special note, the products aimed at a wide demographic audience, with the resulting low price (due to price elasticity of demand), are said to belong to the mainstream niche—in practice referred to only as mainstream or of high demand. Narrower demographics lead to elevated prices due to the same principle.

    Convertible sales in Europe represent a mere 2.3% of total sales.

    This being said, most of the vehicles don't offer a "convertible" version.

    It seems Coupe-Cabriolet (ie with a retractable hard top) have boosted convertible sales from around 1ish percent to around 2.5ish percent.

    That coupe version would be awesome!

    But from that autocar drawing it looks like some kind of strange four door targa idea...  on top of that 4 doors!? Who is their target market?? Poseur families of 4!? 

    Maybe Miley Cyrus and her crazy family will buy one to promote their crazy line of "girl clothes"

    Economy up, roofs go off.

    Economy down, roofs go on.

    Might be heresy, but I think a Panamera cabriolet would look more attractive than the fixed head version.

    And I cant think of a better model for " Parade Laps."
