    No, doesn't come across wrong, but a factual statement on the next engine due in a model is a bold assertion. The dealer would be talking to Atlanta, and Atlanta isn't saying anything about the future, in true Porsche fashion. Unless you have a source on the inside...

    Sorry, meant to say that it is from people in Atlanta (on Hammond Drive) that the dealer would not have been talking to.

    Soooo... If the base Cayman will be using the base Boxster engine, then is it true that the boxster S will be using the Cayman S engine?? And will the base Cayman engine be slighly more tuned than the base boxster it came from??

    Not really you just need to weed through the mess. RC's sources are usually right and dealers are always the last to know, regardless of the brand.
