    987 wind-deflector storage

    Did anyone get a cloth bag for storing their wind deflector when not in place? Had one for my 986, can't find one for this one and want to take the deflector out - the rattle it's generating is driving me nuts and it sounds like it's about to let go at 70 or more. Let's hope they get it sorted when it's in at the end of the week (yes, I know it was meant to be in last week but the OPCs collection drivers were off ill)

    Check the compartment in your front trunk (bonnet, whatever). My cover was stored away next to the DvD/NAV system.

    Yes, I got one.
    It was in it's bag in the rear boot when I collected the car. Salesman fitted it and stuffed the bag in the cubby hole behind the seats.
    So you should have one.

    Yep, mine is in my front trunk. However I've never used it as my deflector doesn't rattle at all, even up to 110 MPH.

    Yes, mine in front trunk too & no rattles.

    That must be true, since I ordered the Bose with windstop package.

    Yes you do get the bag with the BOSE-Windstop combo. Mine was stashed above the CD changer in the front compartment.

    I was looking at a 997 at my dealer a few months. The storage bag for the 987 deflector was in the front trunk of the 997. So there is at least one 987 that is missing the bag.
