I'd say on the Cayman this would be a definite improvement, on the Boxster I think the current front design is a little more fitting for the car.

Well, Porsche AG had this styling on the CGT prototype and I think that it looks even better than the stock CGT frontbumper (see pic below, which features the CGT prototype bumper).
The version on the first pic features slightly modified dimensions of the CGT prototype bumper to work with the 987's design. I am seriously considering to have a limited amount of these bumpers built.

Yeah, I could potentially live with changing the bumper for the more agressive intakes, but adding the CGT style headlights makes it sound like someone who can't afford the CGT thinks their 987 is comparable. Driving a Boxster mimicing a CGT? I'd avoid even the appearance of that situation...

Good point guys. Never thought of it that way. I certainly would not want to be seen in that vain. But then again, there is no way I can afford a Carrera GT in Australia. First of all it cannot be road registered as it's steering wheel is on the wrong side for us, and secondly even if you just buy one for track days, it cost over $1m!
