    Centre Oil cooler - Missing?

    Has anyone noticed the difference between US spec'd 997S and Euro Version?

    US cars are fitted with a oil-cooler in the middle of the front bumper whereas, Euro cars are fitted with oil-coolers at the flanks of the front bumber.

    Can somebody pls explain?

    I think you will find the center cooler on all Tip cars, USA and ROW.

    As I understand it, the centre radiator is for tiptronic equipped cars only. Extra cooling is needed for cars with the torque converter gearbox.

    All X51 powerkit cars will have the center radiator like the tiptronic cars allready have.

    Unfortunately, those "0000" plates are used only for homologation purposes at the local transport authority.

    In the original Porsche internal powerpoint presentation I have got as a printed version, there is a sentence about this radiator.

    From the order guide

    X51 Carrera Power Kit 345 HP
    $13,990 Includes modified cylinder heads, camshafts,
    exhaust manifolds, control unit, additional
