Thats going to be the first thing I will try to do when I get mine

I had thought about doing something like that before the rings even came out by the tunners... those headlights are too big!

I'm wondering... are these rings that are placed on top of the headlights or have they painted the inside rings to matching body color?

I want ot lower mine (base 997) and get those rings for the lights! The front spoiler and side skirts might get beat up a bit on daily driving!

Looks insane though....Porsche techquipment should take a leson in design!

I hate the side mirrors in two tone though...
What has been done to the car?
rings, mirrors, front spoiler, skirts, lowered, rims... and further? Is it wider or more waist lined than the standard 997?

I never liked the frontlights mask available from various tuners to make the 996 look more like a 993. But this is different: I never liked the silver surrounding of the frontlights and on a black car, this should definetely look good. It could be different with lighter colours.

RC, this is the Techart in silver:

I think the best effect is obtained in darker colored cars as well, since the ring is clearly diferentiable to the lighter headlilght thus making the headlight look smaller. In lighter colored cars, specially silvers, the colored rings blend with the headlight and apper similar to the stock silver ring.

The ring is part of the light...for now anyway.

We are rolling out 997 sideviews in carbon soon, and the headlight rings will come soon.

Wow I think thats one fab looking car, it has real presence, even though the mods look fairly simple
front an side spoiler and painted front headlight surrounds - are they 20" or 22" !!

Porsche continuing on the " way-back machine " style-wise, with 997 owners soon adding body colored headlight rings , just like the 70's - 80s .
